Devaraj Patil has been active in many movements for the past 20 years. He has been involved in the students movement, farmers movement and worked for social change as part of the dalit organisation work. He is an activist working for social justice and social change with student youths over the last 10 years

KAVITHA KURAGANTI

Kavitha Kuruganti is a social activist known for her work related to sustainable farm livelihoods and farmers' rights. She has 25 years of experience working in the development sector and is Founder-Convenor of Alliance for Sustainable & Holistic Agriculture (ASHA), a pan-Indian alliance that have come together to secure India's 'Food, Farmers & Freedom'. She is also the founder member of Mahila Kisan Adhikar Manch (MAKAAM), an informal national forum to secure due recognition and rights of women farmers in India and a working group member of All India Kisan Sangharsh Coordination Committee (AIKSCC), a broad-based alliance in India at the national level, for securing farmers’ rights. Kavitha has also served on several Government of India's Committees/Task Forces in an advisory role.

AKHILA

Akhila is a practicing lawyer since 2001. She is a national working committee member of PCSDS, a legal consultant for State PCPNDT, working group member of ‘Mahila Dourjanya Virodhi Okkoota’ , member of Samajwadi Jana Parishad. Akhila is active in Dalit Sangarsh Samiti movement and Peasant movement.

PRATIMA NAIK

Pratima Naik, an engineering graduate is a passionate activist who has held responsible positions in various progressive organizations as co-ordinator, manager and organiser. Her practical experience includes people management, designing and organizing training programs, event co-ordination and helping social media team.

She is the State General Secretary of Jana Sangrama Parishat, a state-wide movement that works for the conservation of natural resources and is led by Anti-corruption crusaders like S R Hiremat and Raghavendra Kustagi. Pratima is a part of the State Co-ordination Committee of Swaraj Abhiyan, a socio-political movement that played a key role in bringing the drought/farmers issue to the forefront at the national level. She also co-founded a movement called "Childfree India".
