NACHIKETH
Nachiketh is the youngest member of Signa, who joined in 2019. Though he studied mechanical engineering, his passion for ecology, kitchen gardening, love for soil and natural farming led him to travel and learn from farmers and practioners. He believes his engineering discipline and climate resilient villages’ work with youths will be a good combination to bring in change in the society.
SHAMA M
After finishing post-graduation in fashion designing she started “TEX-ART Studio” which is a manufacturing unit of handmade eco-friendly apparels home decors and textiles materials also a market place for the same. The main objective of TEX-ART studio is to keep indian textile traditions alive, generate employment, and promote handmade and eco-friendly products. Along with the studio work she is also very passionate and concerned about environment, the a damage what civilization have done to nature in the name of development is alarming, so she is volunteering for bringing a change in peoples perspectives and action towards learning to co-exist with nature in a sustainable way.so shama is closely associated with Signa since 2 years and working on sensitizing youths, sustainable development, creating awareness about being ecofriendly and most importantly creating awareness about simple living.
KAVYASHREE BETTADABAYALU
Kavyashree Bettadabayalu came to Signa as a student, while studying PUC course in the college. SIGNA supported her with student scholarship till she completed her master degree in Social Work. From a student she became the youth leader and after completion of her master degree started to work full time with Signa from October 2018. She is passionate about composing poems, writes stories and play/ drama. Kavya is actively involved in mobilizing college going youths and inspiring them to know more about the local ecosystem and introduce them to activism by taking part in the social movements. She is aspiring to study in depth on gender issues and work for the gender inclusive spaces in every sphere of our lives. Currently she is looking after the youth leadership programmes in the organization
